來源 2001年,利用上述基因製作了基因轉殖大鼠,並建立該品系。使用Crlj:WI(從日本Charles River購入的Wistar大鼠)產生Tg大鼠。此後,持續透過與Jla:Wistar(日本醫學動物資材研究所)交配來維持。
特徵基因改造生物。在大鼠性腺刺激素釋放激素(Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone, GnRH)promoter控制下,表達綠色螢光蛋白(EGFP)。

在免疫陽性的GnRH神經元中,有30-40%顯示出強的EGFP螢光。

繁殖狀態 隨著近親繁殖,生育力可能會下降。因此,有必要定期與wild品系進行交配。
